Meet Lilan - Founder
Lilan is a Sri Lankan Certified Chauffeur Tourist Guide with over eight years of experience designing and hosting private journeys across the island.
Having grown up in Sri Lanka, Lilan's passions have always been travel and outdoor activities which has led him to explore every corner of the country. Over the years, he has worked with 300+ couples and families from around the world, many referred through high-end agencies, all seeking an exciting, comfortable, and authentic way to experience Sri Lanka.
That experience led to the creation of Oops Lanka Travels.
Today, Lilan splits his time between taking guests out on the road and designing guest experiences for Oops Lanka. Each journey is private and tailor-made, built around individual interests, with careful planning, trusted local partners, and the flexibility to adapt to create your dream adventure.
Why Oops Lanka?
The name reflects a simple idea.
Some of the most memorable moments when travelling aren’t always planned — a quiet viewpoint found by chance, an unhurried stop for tea, an unexpected local encounter. Guests often smile and say, “Oops… we didn't plan it but that was the highlight of our trip.”
